Albums / frames / useful details

Choose the right home for your photographs

Start with the print, then choose how you want to see it.

Ring-bound memory album in Warm tan
Removable sheets let the sequence change without replacing the entire album.

Measure the photograph, not the frame

A frame’s stated fit is the size of the print it accepts. Its outer dimensions are larger. Measure both edges of the actual print before choosing. Our square shadow box accepts an 8 × 8 in arrangement; our slim aluminum frame takes an 8 × 10 in print. A float frame is different: leave visible clear space around a smaller photograph rather than filling every inch.

Albums: three ways to build a sequence

Choose pockets for quick sorting of 4 × 6 in prints. Choose paper pages and photo corners when you want to mix sizes, add dates or leave breathing room. A removable post or ring structure makes it easier to reorder sheets. The accordion album is a short display sequence, not bulk storage: ten panels favor a small selection with a beginning and an end.

Compare the constructions

Post-bound: removable broad pages for larger layouts. Sewn scrapbook: a fixed block with dark pages for strong contrast. Pocket keeper: one print format, easy insertion. Ring-bound: movable sheets and a visible mechanism. Accordion: a folding display that closes into a small book. Each construction changes the way you handle prints; color alone does not.

Frames: table, wall or depth

An easel frame stands on a flat surface. The slim aluminum frame is for hanging; choose wall hardware suitable for your wall and the loaded frame. The walnut float frame leaves a transparent margin. Double glass offers a light edge for small prints. A shadow box provides depth for a photo with lightweight paper keepsakes. Wall fasteners are not included unless specifically listed; none are listed in this collection.

Keep prints comfortable

Store albums flat or upright with support so the covers do not pull against the binding. Keep frames out of direct sun and away from heaters, condensation and damp walls. Acrylic is lighter than glass but marks more easily: use a clean soft cloth, not household solvent cleaners. We do not claim museum-grade or certified archival protection. Make a separate backup of photographs that cannot be replaced.

Before adding to cart

Check usable page or print dimensions, the number of pages or pockets, material and chosen finish on each product page. Prices include tax; shipping is $7.95 below $125 and $0 from $125. Preparation takes 2–3 business days after payment confirmation, followed by 3–7 business days in transit within the contiguous US and DC. Ask us about an unusual print size before ordering rather than cutting a photograph to fit.
